A unique design
The base of the Gustafs BF-panel consists of Gypsum woodchip board, which is a combination of Gypsum-board and woodchip board. In this way we have the best of both worlds. We have the good acoustic, flame resistant and stable properties of Gypsum, together with the strength of chipboard integrated into the process. Compared to other woodbased board materials, the Gypsum woodchip board is more stable when exposed to dampness and changes in temperature.
Solid wood Edge
A solid wood edge is fitted along the sides of the board before it is veneered. In this way, the board material is not visible anywhere and the appearance is that of a solid wood board. Apart from the real wood appearance, this extra reinforcement makes the board more robust. The veneer adheres strongly to the edge and the fitter can adjust the panel during installation.
Environmentally friendly
We use completely natural materials that are not harmful to health or the environment. The proportion of natural materials is more than 98%. No harmful chemicals are used in our production. The Gypsum woodchip board does not contain any chemical binding agents.
